Board of Trustees

Board of Trustees is the ultimate governing body of the Foundation under the leadership of the Chairperson.

In implementing this responsibility, the Board of Trustees has delegated authority to the Executive Board to act for and on behalf of the Foundation in every respect.

The Board of Trustee retains the following functions:

  • Approving overall policy and strategy concerning the objectives of the Foundation;
  • Receiving and adopting the financial statements of the Foundation;
  • Ratifying and confirming the resolution passed by the Executive Board since the previous annual general meeting.

In addition, it is the-responsibility of each and every Trustee to:

  • promote the objectives of the Foundation at all times;
  • advance the general and financial well-being of the Foundation; and
  • Maintain and enhance the capital of the Foundation.

The board of Trustees must meet at least once in each calendar year and at intervals not exceeding eighteen months.
