His Excellency Chief Dr. Alex EkwuemeVICE PRESIDENT, FEDERAL REPUBLIC OF NIGERIA (1979-1983)

Dr. Ekwueme is a renowned and prolific philanthropist, public servant and a man of peace. He is a member of the Board of Directors of Canada based Forum of Federations.

He is also a member of the Economic Community of West African States (ECOWAS) Council of Elders.

Amb. Mbu, Matthew Tawo - Lawyer, Politician, Diplomat, and a permanent fixture in Nigerian political affairs for more than fifty years - is a political giant.

Chief Mbu was born on November 20, 1929, in Okundi, Cross River State. He received his early education at Okundi Primary School from 1937 to 1940.

HRH Alhaji Shehu Idris (CFR) - Emir of Zaria

Alhaji Idris is a seasoned administrator, scholar and a well respected traditional ruler.

In the course of his career, he served in various positions in the Ministry of Local Government, Zaria Local Authority Council, and Kaduna State Broadcasting Corporation HRH is the current Chairman of the Kaduna State Council of Chiefs and Pro-Chancellor of the University of Technology, Minna and Chancellor of the University of Nigeria, Nsukka.

He sits on the Board of many corporate organisations.

Chief Bayo Kuku (CON) - Ogbeni-oja of ijebu land

Chief Bayo KukuChief (Dr.) Bayo Kuku was born 14th September 1930 in Ijebu-Ode Ogun State.

He attended University College, London (1959-62); and University of California (1962-63). He started his career as a State Counsel at the Federal Ministry of Justice (1963-64) and rose to become the Executive Vice-Chairman of Mobil Producing Nigeria Unlimited (1964-81) and Director of the Nigerian National Petroleum Corporation (1981-83).

He has also served as member, Federal Board of Tax Appeal Commission (1967-73); Chairman and Acting Pro-Chancellor, University of Ife Governing Council (1978-79) Founding member, Board of Directors FBN (Merchant Bankers) Limited; Member, International Bar Association (IBA); and in several committees.

Amb Raph UwechueAmbassador Raph Uwechue was born at Ogwashi-Uku, Delta State in 1935.

He attended St. John’s (Rimi) College, Kaduna from 1949-1954, where he was a foundation student. He was retained as a teacher in the school for a period of eighteen months before proceeding for further studies.

Ambassador Raph Uwechue holds a BA (Hons) degree in History from the University College, Ibadan, 1960 and a Diploma in International Law and French language, 1964, from the Geneva African Institute, Switzerland.

Prof. Obumneme Ekwueme

 Professor Ekwueme is a Medical Practitioner and also a Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of Edinburgh (F.R.C.S. ED), Fellow of the Royal College of Surgeons of England (F.R.C.S. Eng), Professor of Surgery University of Nigeria, Enugu, Nigeria.

He obtained MBBS degree from University of London in 1964 and MD from University of London in 1972.

His Royal Majesty Oba (Dr) David Victor Folagbade Olateru-Olagbegi III was born on June 26, 1941 in the ancient city of Owo. He belongs to the Elewuokun ruling house.

HRM OBA DAVID VICTOR FOLAGBADE OLATERU-OLAGBEGI III (OLOWO OF OWO) He attended Government Primary School, Owo between 1947-1954, from where he proceeded to Imade College, Owo, 1955 to 1960. In 1961 through 1963.

His Majesty’s promising outlook encouraged his Royal Father, the influential, celebrated and dignified Sir, Olateru-Olagbegi II, (KBE) to send him to England where he enrolled at the Poole College, Poole, Dorset to complete his General Certificate of Education, Ordinary and Advanced levels. Between 1964 to 1968, His Majesty read Law at the prestigious Holborn College of Law and Grays Inn, London where he qualified with a Bachelor of Law LL.B.

Otunba Michael BalogunOtunba Michael Olasubomi Olayiwola Oladimeji Olaonipekun Balogun, born 9th March 1934, at Ijebu-Ode in Ogun State.

The Otunba had his secondary education at Igbobi College, Yaba, Lagos where he passed out with the Cambridge School Certificate in Grade One in 1952. For a year, he was a Secondary School teacher before proceeding to the London School of Economics (LSE) to read Law in 1956, having passed with distinctions - three subjects at the GCE Advanced Level as one of the pioneer-students of the Nigerian College of Arts, Science & Technology, Ibadan.

Senator Khairat Abdul-Rasaq Gwadabe

Senator Khairat Abdul-Rasaq GwadabeSenator Abdul Rasaq Gwadabe is a lawyer, democrat, women emancipation campaigner and a social reformer.

She is the daughter of Alhaji AGF Abdul Rasaq SAN, the first northern Nigeria lawyer and was elected Senator of the Federal Republic of Nigeria in 1999 following the return to multi party democracy in Nigeria.

She was the Chairman of Senate Committee on Women Affairs and member of other committees within the senate.

Rt Rev Monsignor (Dr) Nathaniel Obiagba

Rt Rev Monsignor (Dr) Nathaniel ObiagbaMonsignor Dr Obiagba is a lawyer, civil right activist and a reformer. He is a senior priest within the Catholic Archdiocesan Secretariat, Onitsha.

Rt Rev Dr Obiagba represented Anambra State in the 1995 Constitutional Conference. He is the Secretary of Anambra State Chapter of Christian Association of Nigeria (CAN).

Monsignor Obiagba is the Supreme Chaplain, The Order of the Knights of St Mulumba, Nigeria. Within the Catholic Archdiocese of Onitsha, he is the Chaplain Apostolate for family consecration and Chaplain of the Marriage Encounter Movement.

Senator Daniel Olugbenga Aluko

Born on the 20th of July 1963 to the family of Professor and Mrs Sam Aluko, renowned economist, academician and politician.

Senator Daniel Olugbenga AlukoHe was educated at the University of Ife Staff School, Federal Government College, Ilorin and Graduated in Geography and Regional Planning from the University of Benin, Benin City in 1982.

He did a specialist Post Graduate Course in International Oil Trading and Pricing from the prestigious College of Energy and Petroleum Studies, Oxford, England. He is married with children.
